"The hurlers and the rumour catcher"

For Solo soprano and Baritone and chamber ensemble of flute, bassoon, violin, viola, cello, double bass, harp and percussion.

Inspired by a stone circle on Bodmin Moor of the same name ("The hurlers"), the piece tells a story of the tragic day that the young Hurlers were turned to stone.

First performed at the St Endellion summer music festival.
